Breed Description:
Yorkshire Terriers a long-haired toy terrier whose blue and tan coat is parted on the face and from the base of the skull to the end of the tail and hangs evenly and quite straight down each side of body. The Yorkshire Terriers body is neat, compact and well proportioned. The Yorkshire Terriers high head carriage and confident manner should give the appearance of vigor and self-importance.
Temperament:
The Yorkshire terrier are well suited for many surroundings,they love to travel and are great for many types of homes. Their small size should not fool you they are very energetic and curious animals. As they were original bred for catching rats they do enjoy some exercise.

Normally no more then 5 - 7 lbs
Health Problems:
Yorkshire Terriers exhibit few health challenges, We do recommend paying close attention to their teeth. Simply daily brushing and diet will help monitor this. Yorkshire Terriers have also been known to develop hernias and have hypoglycemia.
Exercise:
Moderate, they will run in the home environment but enjoy a backyard and long walk.
Grooming:
They have long coats and to keep them at there best they require brushing daily.
