First of all let me welcome you to this community. It was designed with you in mind. I wanted to offer a place where you can find connection with people who are looking for people to exchange information, stories, opinions and laughs with by either going into a specific arena for a pure bred dog, cat or horse, or through a shared interest connected to pets in general.
Having been involved with pets most of my life, and having spent many years with pure breed pursuits in my own breeding of dogs, coupled with a background as well in areas of journalism, art history, art, and integrated medicine with a sideline love of some more mystical things, I could pretty well cover the waterfront in what is out there, sliced with discrimination. My own breed is the Briard, a French herding dog. My kennel name for my dogs is Briards of the Coastline. A website exists and has for many years about my dogs.
Because of my art background and concern and love of art and the visual world, I hope you find the site easy on your eyes, and sensibilities. The site I wish to be an oasis for you to spend time in comfortably as you look for what you want. Art, photographers, books and films about animals will be included here.
Because of my journalism background, I hope you find articles and information that add value to things you have wanted to know about, know about already but are still seeking more input on, or alternative avenues for discovery to answer your questions. I hope some things on this site are completely new and fresh for you.
Your ability to gather and get involved in many independent areas within the site will give you connection to yourspecific interests, and bring you greater clarity on the many subjects and themes available, by letting you introduce yourself to like minded people. I hope you find people to help, and people who can help you in valuable ways. Everyone can benefit in the exchange, by contributing to different degrees. Understand this is not a site to flame and burn others with disrespect. There are rules pertaining to comments made here.
This site is also designed for you who love to shop but want to be able to find useful and satisfying sources easily. Whether your search is for a cost efficient item, or a high end, custom item, be it locating an artist to create a painting of your pet, or having a talented crafts person design you a leash in exactly the leather colors you want, you will be able to get there from here. There are areas for shopping you will find that you did not know existed. Supporting talented people who have small venues, like smaller vineyards serves the entire pet community. It is all connected.

I hope what you seek is available here with enough variety and enough information to let you feel your decisions are made with greater certainty than before you visited this site. While I cannot control all the ads that might show up at this site, know that a great deal of time has gone in to every area and many of the items shown, breeders represented, and all forums have been selected with discrimination by myself.
There are some who might call me a “ seeker.’ I do see the world as an integrated place. This website will reflect that. I do stand firmly on the ground that sees wholeness and diversity as being hand in hand. If you don’t believe that highest consciousness loves diversity to dance within it then take another big look around this world we live in.
