Dog
The Westiepoo breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the West Highland White Terrier with the Miniature or Toy Poodle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Westiepoo will have qualities of both parents. They are usually small in size with a compact and robust body. They are usually found with medium sized drop ears and the muzzle is thin and long.
The coat of the Westiepoo is usually consists of two coats, the soft, short undercoat and a medium long topcoat that is dense and has a noticeable wave to it. The Westiepoo can be found in any color common to the parent breeds but they are more commonly white.

The standards for all the breeds accepted to the AKC are used here for breed information, and those not part of the AKC are resourced from FCI standard information, where it is written and coded into the club rules for those breeds.
