The Victorian Bulldog was developed by a Ken Mollett from London England and after becoming saddened by the current state of the English Bulldog, he began to make changes to it. The breed was developed by crossing the Dogue de Bordeaux with the English Bulldog, Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Bullmastiffs. The result was the Victorian Bulldog, which was a larger and healthier. The breed did gain some popularity early on in its development but has become a rare breed over the last decade.
