The Rhinelander breed of horse is a German warmblood breed registered with the Rhenish Horse Studbook and bred mainly at the Warendorf State Stud alongside the Westphalian. The Rhinelander is bred to the same standard as other German warmbloods, to produce a sport horse well suited to dressage and show jumping.

The Rhenish Horse Studbook was founded in 1892 and registers many different breeds, but primarily the Rhinelander. The Rhinelander, like other German warmbloods, is an excellent riding and sport horse and comes in all solid colors.
