Breed Description: 

The Quarab breed of horse is effectively a cross between a Quarter Horse and an Arab, although it has become an established breed in its own right. Paint horses were added as well, and the Quarab comes not only in all solid colors but in paint coloring as well. The Quarab generally has a stocky build similar to a Quarter Horse, but with refinement and elegance associated with the Arab. Arab influence is usually most noticeable in the Quarab's high, arched neck and delicate facial features. It is a versatile riding horse with a quiet temperament, excellent endurance and exceptional intelligence.

The Quarab breed of horse has an excellent temperament, combining the intelligence of the Arabian with the calm nature of the quarter horse.

The Quarab breed of horse stand 14 to 16 hands.
Weight: 
The Quarab breed of horse weighs 750 to 1000 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Quarab breed of horse is not associated with any health issues, although horses that descend form Quarter Horses with the potential to carry the dangerous HYPP gene (horses that descend from a single Quarter Horse named Impressive that carried the gene) should be tested for the HYPP condition.
Living Conditions: 
The Quarab breed of horse is fairly hardy and easy to maintain, but appreciates shelter in harsh weather.
