Breed Description: 

The Pushon breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Pug and the Bichon Frise. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Pushon will have qualities of all the parents. They are usually a small breed of dog that should be slightly longer than they are tall. The overall look should be of a compact breed that is robust and never fragile looking. They should have short legs and their top line should be level. Generally, the dog has a medium length tail that curls over the back and a square shaped head with a broad skull and a short muzzle. There should be wrinkles on the fact and the ears should be medium in size and folded forward.

The coat of the Pushon tends to be a double coat with a soft, short undercoat and a wavy top coat. Many times, the topcoat has a scruffy appearance or a fluffy appearance, however, some are Pushon have the short coat that is common in the Pug. They can be any color that the parent breeds have but the most common colors are black or fawn with a black mask.

Temperament: 
The Pushon breed of dog breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. They are considered to be a friendly and intelligent breed that can learn quickly and be a joy. They are generally very sweet dogs that are happy and affectioante but they can have their stubborn moments. This is definitely not a breed that will give in to everything. The Pushon is not recommended for homes with young children since they can be snappy but they do very well in multi-pet homes.

The average weight for a Pushon is between 15 to 18 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Pushon breed of dog has no known health problems, however, it is important to read up on the Pug and the Bichon Frise to be aware of the health problems your puppy may be at risk for.
Living Conditions: 
The Pushon breed of dog is a versatile dog when it comes to living conditions and they can live in both apartments and homes with yards. They should not live outdoors and do best when they are inside with their family as a companion dog.
Exercise: 
The Pushon breed of dog is a very energetic breed of dog and will need about 45 to 60 minutes of exercise each day to stay healthy and happy.

Grooming: 
The Pushon breed of dog does require a little extra grooming and expect to brush them two or three times a week. The hair may need to be trimmed every month or two, especially around the face, ears and feet but in general, it can be left natural. The Pushon only needs to be bathed when necessary and can often go two or three months without a bath. For Pushons with longer coats, clipping may be done to keep the management easy. Nails should be kept trimmed and the ears should be cleaned on a weekly basis as well.
