Breed Description: 

The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is a toy sized breed of dog that should be slightly longer than they are tall with a very delicate build. They should still look athletic and lean, despite their small size and they should have a wedge shaped head that is well-balanced with the rest of the dog.  The ears should be large and triangular shaped and they should stand erect. The top line is level and the medium size tail should taper to a point and is commonly docked.

The coat of the Prezsky Krysavik should be a single coat that is sleek and glossy. The hair should cover the dog completely but it should still be very thin. There should be a slight hardness to the texture. The color of the Prazsky Krysavik is commonly black with tan points but they can also be found in brown.

Temperament: 
The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is considered to be an intelligent and noble little dog that is known for their calm disposition and their watchful air. This is a companion dog that will spend much of his time keeping a careful watch on their owner. The breed is usually very affectionate and they tend to be very tolerant and gentle with children, however, their small size makes them better suited to homes with older kids. The breed is usually very active and while their small size makes them easy to exercise, don't expect this to be a breed that simply sits on the couch. They usually do well with other dogs but the breed shouldn't be trusted with small pocket pets since they do have a strong prey drive.

The average height for a Prazsky Krysavik is between 7 to 9 inches.

The average weight for a Prazsky Krysavik is between 2 to 6 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is considered to be a very hardy breed and has no known health problems at this time. It is important to note that the breed can be injured very easily so proper handling is very important.
Living Conditions: 
The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is a versatile dog when it comes to living conditions and they can live in both apartments and homes with yards. They should not live outdoors and do best when they are inside with their family as a companion dog. If they have access to a yard, it is important to have a fence yard to keep them safe and to monitor them when they are outside. This breed does have a strong prey drive and may chase after animals they see.
Exercise: 
The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is an active breed that requires between 20 to 30 minutes of exercise each day. Generally, two good walks will meet their needs but it is also important to give them an opportunity for off leash exercise as well. It is important to keep them on leash when they are not in a secure yard since the Prazsky Krysavik can have a strong prey drive and may chase after neighborhood animals.

Grooming: 
The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is a very easy breed to groom and they require little to no maintenance to keep their coats healthy. On average, you should expect to brush your dog on a weekly basis to remove dead hairs and dirt. A wipe down with a damp cloth will keep them clean and they should only be bathed when it is absolutely necessary. Ears should be cleaned on a regular basis and nails should be clipped once or twice a month.
Origin: 
The Prazsky Krysavik breed of dog is a new reconstruction of an old breed that was developed in the Czech Republic and Slovakia as a companoin breed. The original breed was often seen amongst Bohemian nobility and was commonly called the Prague Ratter. The breed was through lost and today, it is unclear if the Prazsky Krysavik is the breed revived or a simple recreation of it.
