The Poshies breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Pomeranian and the Shetland Sheepdog. The dog should appear robust in the body with a leggy appearance. Generally, the Poshies look like a smaller Shetland Sheepdog with a more abundant coat.

The undercoat should be soft, short and dense and the top coat should be silky in texture. The hair should be straight and there can be a small frill of hair on the chest and feathering on the tail. They can be any color that is common in the parent breeds, however, the black and white with tan points coat color  of the Shetland Sheepdog color is one of the more common colors.
