Breed Description: 

The Poogle breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Miniature or Toy Poodle and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Poogle will have qualities of all the parents. They should be a small sized breed of dog that should be compact and athletic in appearance. They should be slightly longer than they are tall with a level top line and a medium length tail that is carried high. The tail is usually straight. The head of the Poggle should be broad with a long muzzle. The long ears should hang slightly to the side of the head.

The coat of the Poogle is usually a short coat that is very dense and covers the dog completely. The hair should lay flat on the dog and create a smooth line. The texture of the coat should be slightly hard. The Peagle can be found in any colors that are common in the parent breeds but the most common colors are black and white, cream and brown.

Temperament: 
The Poogle breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. They are knwon for being intelligent, sweet and charming and often capture the hearts of anyone they meet. This is sweet dog that usually gets along well with everyone. They do have a well of energy and their natural love of children make them an ideal family pet, however, they may do better with older children. The breed usually gets along well with other dogs and pets and they are often very friendly with everyone including strangers.

The average height for a Poogle is between 13 to 16 inches.
Weight: 
The average weight for a Poogle is between 18 to 20 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Poogle breed of dog has no known health problems, however, it is important to read up on the Beagle and the Poodle to be aware of the health problems your puppy may be at risk for.
Living Conditions: 
The Poogle breed of dog may not be suitable for apartments if they take after their Beagle parent, which is a very vocal breed. The ideal is a home with a fenced yard and they should not be an outdoor dog.
Exercise: 
The Poogle breed of dog is a very energetic breed of dog and will need about 45 to 60 minutes of exercise each day to stay healthy and happy.

10 to 12 years
Grooming: 
The Poogle breed of dog will have different grooming needs depending on their coat type. If they have the Beagle coat, then they are very easy to groom and only need to be brushed once a week. The tight Poodle curls is also easy to care for and if the owner opts to clip the coat, then maintenance is limited to once a week. If they have a combination coat, they may need to be brushed two or three times a week. Regardless of coat type, bathing should only be done when it is necessary. In addition, ears should be cleaned on a weekly basis and nails should be trimmed once or twice a month.
