Dog
The Poogle breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Miniature or Toy Poodle and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Poogle will have qualities of all the parents. They should be a small sized breed of dog that should be compact and athletic in appearance. They should be slightly longer than they are tall with a level top line and a medium length tail that is carried high. The tail is usually straight. The head of the Poggle should be broad with a long muzzle. The long ears should hang slightly to the side of the head.
The coat of the Poogle is usually a short coat that is very dense and covers the dog completely. The hair should lay flat on the dog and create a smooth line. The texture of the coat should be slightly hard. The Peagle can be found in any colors that are common in the parent breeds but the most common colors are black and white, cream and brown.

The standards for all the breeds accepted to the AKC are used here for breed information, and those not part of the AKC are resourced from FCI standard information, where it is written and coded into the club rules for those breeds.
