Dog
The Peagle breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Pekingese and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Peagke will have qualities of all the parents. They should be a small sized breed of dog that should be compact and athletic in appearacne. They should be slightly longer than they are tall with a level top line and a medium length tail that is carried high. The tail should either be straight or should curl over the back and some owners opt to have it docked. The head of the Peagle should be broad with a very short muzzle that is a combination of both the Pekingese and Beagle muzzle. The eyes should be large and the medium length ears should hang slightly to the side of the head.
The coat of the Peagle is usually a short coat that is very dense and covers the dog completely. The hair should lay flat on the dog and create a smooth line. The texture of the coat should be slightly hard. The Peagle can be found in any colors that are common in the parent breeds but the most common colors are black and white, cream and brown.
