Breed Description: 

The Minnie Jack breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Miniature Pinscher with the Jack Russell Terrier.  Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next.  Generally, the Minnie Jack will have qualities of both parents. They are a toy to small sized breed of dog with an athletic build and a smooth appearance. They should have a wedge shaped head with a muzzle that tapers slightly into a point. The ears of the Minnie Jack should be large and erect and the tail should be long and taper to a point.

The coat of the Minnie Jack should be short, smooth and shiny. It should lay flat against the dog and should be slightly rough in texture.  They can be found in any color that is common to the parent breeds, however, a mostly white coat with light lemon markings are the most common coat color.

Temperament: 
The Minnie Jack breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. However, they are known for being an active and athletic breed that is very affectionate and lively. This is a breed that is known to have a little sparkle in their eye and they are considered to be very intelligent. The breed is usually very mischievous and will often find some type of trouble to get into. They can learn to be good with children but they are usually better suited to older children since they can become quite rough. They do well with other pets but they can be aggressive towards other dogs.

The average height for a Minnie Jack is between 10 to 12 inches.
Weight: 
The average weight for a Minnie Jack is between 9 to 16 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Minnie Jack breed of dog has no known health problems, however, it is important to read up on both the Miniature Pinscher and the Jack Russel Terrier to be aware of the health problems your puppy may be at risk for.
Living Conditions: 
The Minnie Jack breed of dog can do very well in apartments if they are properly exercise. If they have access to a yard, it is important to have a fenced yard since they do have a strong prey drive and may run away after things.
Exercise: 
The Minnie Jack breed of dog is an active dog and does require about 30 minutes of exercise each day. They can become destructive if they are bored, so it is important to exercise them every day.

15 to 17 years
Grooming: 
The Minnie Jack breed of dog does not require a lot of maintenance and can be kept tidy with only one brushing each week. In addition, the Minnie Jack only requires a bath every few months and can do with only one or two baths a year. In between baths, the Minnie Jack can be kept clean with a damp cloth. Ears should be cleaned on a weekly basis and nails should be trimmed once or twice a month.
Origin: 
The Minnie Jack breed of dog is a designer `hybrid`breed that has become popular over the last decade or so.
