Dog

Pronunciation:

Breed Description:

The Miniboz breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Miniature Schnauzer with the Boston Terrier.  Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next.  Generally, the Miniboz will have qualities of both parents. They are a small sized breed of dog with a small, compact body that is usually slightly longer than it is tall.  They can have the rectangular shaped head of the Miniature Schnauzer or they can have the rounded head of the Boston Terrier. Usually, their muzzles are short but longer than the Boston Terrier.  The ears are usually small and folded forward and the tail is usually short.

The coat of the Miniboz can range from the short, smooth coat of the Boston Terrier to the wiry coat of the Miniature Schnauzer but they are usually a medium length, wiry coat that gives them a scruffy appearance. The color can be any that are commonly seen in the parent breeds but the most common tend to be brindle or black with small white markings.

Temperament:
The Miniboz breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. However, they are known for being a friendly and intelligent breed that can make an excellent family pet. They are usually very happy being with their family but they have an independent streak that makes them easy to leave at home on their own. the breed is usually good with children and despite their small size, they can do well with young children. They are usually very active but they can be exercised inside quite easily. The Miniboz does well with other dogs and pets.

14 to 16 years
Grooming:
