Dog
The Miniature Bulldog breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the English Bulldog with the Pug. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Miniature Bulldog will have qualities of all the parent breeds with a compact body that is slightly longer than it is tall and a solid build. The breed should be very muscular and they should have a square head with a strong jaw and there should be wrinkles over the nose and down the side of the mouth. The top line of the dog should be level and the tail should either be a corkscrew or short. Ears should be half pricked or rose shaped.
The coat of the Miniature Bulldog should be short and smooth. It should be medium in texture without being too soft or too course. They can be found in a range of colors that are common to the parent breeds including white and tan, white and red, brindle, fawn and fawn with a black mask.

The standards for all the breeds accepted to the AKC are used here for breed information, and those not part of the AKC are resourced from FCI standard information, where it is written and coded into the club rules for those breeds.
