Dog
The Miniature Australian Bulldog breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Australian Bulldog with both the French Bulldog and the Pug. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Miniature Australian Bulldog will have qualities of all the parent breeds with a compact body that is slightly longer than it is tall and a solid build. The breed should be very muscular but they have a slightly narrower chest than other bulldog breeds. There should be a square head with a strong jaw and there should be wrinkles over the nose and down the side of the mouth. The top line of the dog should be level and the tail should either be a corkscrew or long. Ears should be half pricked.
The coat of the Miniature Australian Bulldog should be short and smooth. It should be medium in texture without being too soft or too course. They can be found in a range of colors including fawn, fawn brindle, white, pied, mahogany, mahogany brindle, silver brindle, apricot, black brindle, red and red brindle.

The standards for all the breeds accepted to the AKC are used here for breed information, and those not part of the AKC are resourced from FCI standard information, where it is written and coded into the club rules for those breeds.
