Breed Description: 

The Mini English Cocker breed of dog was developed by crossing the Dachshund with the English Cocker Spaneil to create a small to medium sized breed of dog with a slightly elongated body. Generally, most Mini English Cockers look similar to the English Cocker Spaniel iwht the long ears, wide muzzle and short tail, however, they often inherit the long body of the Dachshund and the slightly smaller legs.

The coat of the Mini English Cocker can range but is commonly medium in length with a light wave to the fur. There is usually feathering on the ears, chest and legs.  The coat color can be any color including white, black, tan, red, parti, bi-colored, tri-colored, and piebald, and dapple.

Temperament: 
The Mini English Cocker breed of dog can be a very gentle and loyal companion. They are usually a joy to be around and tend to dote on their family. They do very well with children, although it is important to socialize them properly, especially if they have inherited their Dachshund parent temperament. This breed usually gets along with everyone and they are generally do well with other dogs and pets.

The average height of a Mini English Cocker is between 5 to 14 inches.
Weight: 
The average weight of a Mini English Cocker is between 8 to 30 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Mini English Cocker breed of dog has no known health problems, however, it is important to read up on both the English Cocker Spaniel and the Dachshund to be aware of the health problems your puppy may be at risk for.
Living Conditions: 
The Mini English Cocker breed of dog can do well in apartments if they are properly exercised. However, the ideal home is one with a large fenced yard. The Mini English Cocker should not be an outdoor dog.
Exercise: 
The Mini English Cocker breed of dog is an active breed and should receive between 30 to 45 minutes of exercise per day. It is important to keep them on a leash when they are not in a secure location because they can chase after things they find interesting.

12 to 15 years
Grooming: 
The Mini English Cocker breed of dog can be a difficult breed of dog to groom depending on the coat it has inherited. If it has the short haired coat, then brushign once a week is fine, however, most Mini English Cockers have a longer coat that requires daily brushing. They should be bathed once every month and the hair around the feet and under the ears should be trimmed to prevent matting and infections.
Origin: 
The Mini English Cocker breed of dog is a designer `hybrid`breed that has become popular over the last decade or so. There is no actual origin for the breed and if you are interested in learning more about the Mini English Cocker, it is important to read up on both the English Cocker Spaniel and the Dachshund.
