Dog
The Meagle breed of dog was developed by crossing the Beagle with the Miniature Pinscher. The result was a small to medium sized breed of dog with the slender body of the Miniature Pinscher and the slightly longer than tall build of the Beagle. The head is usually wedged shape with a narrow muzzle and the ears are the over sized Beagle ears that hang down the side of the head. The tail of the Meagle is long but some owners opt to dock the tail.
The coat of the Meagle is short and smooth and should cover the dog completely. It should also have a glossy appearance to it. The Meagle can be found in any hound color includingblackand tan, lemon and tan, black, white and tan, red and white, lemon, orange and tan, and either blue or red tick. The more common color is the black with tan point coat.
