Dog
The Lhatese breed of dog is a small breed that was developed by crossing the Lhasa Apso with the Maltese. The breed should be compact with a slightly longer body than it is tall. It should be robust in appearance and should have thick limbs and a long tail that tapers. The ears of the Lhatese are usually long and hang down the side of the head.
The coat of the Lhatese is usually a combination of the Maltese and the Lhasa Apso with thick dense fur that is medium in length and has a wave to loose curl. The texture should be smooth and the hair on the head should be slightly shorter than the body. The color of a Lhatese can be any including black, tan, gray, gold and cream but the more common color is either pure white or white with tan markings.
