Dog
The Irish Doodle breed of dog was developed by crossing the Irish Setter with the Poodle. The result was a medium to large sized breed that is slightly longer than it is tall and has a robust build that is athletic and sturdy. They should not have excess weight but should give the appearance of an agile dog with a large amount of stamina.
The coat of the Irish Doodle is usually a wavy coat that is shaggy in appearance. They are usually low shedders and there can be feathering on the ears, chest and long tail. The color of the Irish Doodle is commonly a dark red but they can also be found in black, white, apricot, gray, blue, cream and cafe-au-lait.
