The Havashire breed of dog is a friendly and playful dog that can be both clown like and tenacious. They are brave and always willing to explore and do something fun and mischievous. They are usually very affectionate with their family, however, they can be reserved with strangers. The Havashire is usually very good with children and they can be great with other animals in the house if they are properly trained and socialized.

The average weight of a Havashire is between 5 to 13 pounds, although many average at 6 or 7 pounds.
Health Problems:

Living Conditions:
The Havashire breed of dog is an excellent apartment companion, however, the breed can be yappy so be aware of the noise restrictions in your building. The Havashire should not be an outdoor dog and it is important to watch them when they are outside because they could have a strong prey drive, especially if they take after the Yorkshire Terrier parent.
Exercise:
The Havashire breed of dog is surprisingly active for such a small dog. They will require about 15 to 20 minutes of exercise per day but because of their small size, their needs could be met with a fun game of fetch down a hallway.

They can be bathed once every two or three weeks and conditioner can be applied to keep their coat soft and silky.
Origin:
The Havashire breed of dog is a designer `hybrid`breed that has become popular over the last decade or so. There is no actual origin for the breed and if you are interested in learning more about the Havashire, it is important to read up on both the Havanese and the Yorkshire Terrier.
