Dog
The Golden Irish breed of dog is a medium to large sized breed of dog that is a crossbreed between the Golden Retriever and the Irish Setter. They are usually athletic and well built, although they tend to be smaller in height than the Irish Setter and leaner than the Golden Retriever. They usually have a long tail and pendulous ears that are set high on the head.
The coat of the Golden Irish is usually medium in length with shorter hair on the sides and belly and longer hair on the back. There should be feathering on the chest, ears, tail and legs and there is usually a mane of hair around the neck. They are usually red or yellow in coloring but the yellow can range from cream to dark gold.
