Breed Description: 

The Frengle breed of dog are a crossbreed between a French Bulldog and a Beagle. They are a small breed of dog with wide shoulders and chest that taper down into a narrow rump.  The tail ranges in length from short to long and tapered. The head is large and round but while the muzzle is shorter than the Beagle it is not bracheophalic like the French Bulldog.  The eyes are wide set but they are small and oval in shape.  Ears are large but pendulous.

The coat of the Frengle is short, smooth and dense.  It covers the dog completely and can come in a range of colors including brindle, white, fawn, lemon and can be bi-color or tri-color including the black and tan coloring.  Lastly, the coat can be found in both red and blue tick.

Temperament: 
The Frengle breed of dog should have a blend of temperament that they inherent from their parent breeds. Tehy should be gentle and friendly and should have a clown like personality that can be very comical at times. The Frengle is good with children of all ages and generally gets along with other animals in the home, although they may have the prey drive of the Beagle.

The height of the Frengle can range from 12 to 16 inches
Weight: 
The weight of the Frengle can range from 19 to 28 pounds
Health Problems: 
The Frengle breed of dog does not appear to suffer from any health problems but it is important to be aware of spinal problems seen in the French Bulldog. In addition, the Beagle can be prone to dwarfism, eye and spine problems and epilepsy. The Frengle is at risk of experiencing all of these health problems.
Living Conditions: 
The Frengle breed of dog can make a suitable apartment dweller, however, they may be prone to barking, which is something they inherit from their Beagle parentage.
Exercise: 
The Frengle breed of dog will need about 20 minutes of exercise to keep him health. Remember that both parent breeds can suffer from obesity so it is important to exercise them on a daily basis.

10 to 15 years
Grooming: 
The Frengle breed of dog is an easy breed to groom and only requires weekly brushing to remove the dead hair and keep the dog looking tidy. A damp cloth or dry shampoo will keep them tidy and they only need to be bathed when absolutely necessary. Special attention should be paid to the ears since the moisture and dirt can be trapped in them, which leads to ear infections.

The Frengle breed of dog is a designer `hybrid`breed that has become popular over the last decade or so. There is no actual origin for the breed and if you are interested in learning more about the Frengle, it is important to read up on both the French Bulldog and the Beagle.
