Breed Description: 

The Frenchie Pug breed of dog is a crossbreed between the French Bulldog and the Pug.  It is a small breed of dog with a compact body and stocky build that is common in both breeds.  The head is square shape and the nose is short and brachiocephalic, slightly pushed in.  The forehead and stop is wrinkled and the eyes are set wide apart and are large and round in shape.  The ears are oversized for the head and stand erect.

The coat of the Frenchie Pug is short and close to the skin.  It should cover the dog fully and can be a range of colors including brindle, fawn, white, black, fawn, apricot, and silver.  They can also have black masks on their face and muzzle and can come in bi-colors such as black and white.

Temperament: 
The Frenchie Pug breed of dog is a cheerful little dog that is very family oriented. This is a breed that likes being with their owners and family. They can be very good with children and have a calm temperament that is very patient. They can be very clown like in temperament and are eager to please their owners so they are usually very easy to train.

The height of the Frenchie Pug can range from 10 to 14 inches.
Weight: 
The weight of the Frenchie Pug can range from 13 to 28 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Frenchie Pug breed of dog has no indication of specific diseases, they are a brachiocephalic and can suffer from heat exhaustion very easily. In addition, they may be prone to reverse sneezing and a chronic breathing problems. The French Bulldog can suffer from severe spinal problems and the Pug can suffer from a serious condition called Pug Dog Encephalitis and may be a problem for the Frenchie Pug, although there is still no history of the breeds health problems.
Living Conditions: 
The Frenchie Pug breed of dog is small in size and has a quiet nature, which makes it an ideal dog for apartment living.
Exercise: 
The Frenchie Pug breed of dog does not have high exercise needs and only needs one good walk a day to meet them. It is important to be aware of heat exhaustion when you are walking your Frenchie Pug and to also cover them up since they can be susceptible to cold.

10 to 15 years
Grooming: 
The Frenchie Pug breed of dog has a short coat that is very easy to care for. Weekly brushings should be done to remove dead hair and the coat can be wiped down with a wet cloth to keep them clean. Wrinkles on the face should be wiped daily and should be kept dry to avoid any infections from occurring in them.
Origin: 
The Frenchie Pug breed of dog is a designer `hybrid`breed that has become popular over the last decade or so. There is no actual origin for the breed and if you are interested in learning more about the Frenchie Pug, it is important to read up on both the French Bulldog and the Pug.
