Breed Description:

The French Bull Wiener breed of dog is a mixed breed that was created by crossing the French Bulldog with the Daschund Hound.  The result was a small breed of dog that has a slightly distended body.  It's legs are short and placed directly beneath its body and the body is sleek in shape, much like the shape of a Daschund.  The heads is large with a short, narrow muzzle and wrinkles on the forehead.  Small pendulum ears finish off the shape of the head.  The French Bull Wiener has a long, narrow tail.  The coat of the French Bull Terrier could range from short and smooth to slightly long with feathering on the tail and legs.  They can come in a range of colors including brindle, fawn, white, black, brown, cream and even blue. In addition, they can be piebalds, tri-colored or bi-colored.

Temperament:
The French Bull Wiener breed of dog has many of the temperament qualities that both the Daschund and the French Bulldog have. They are good with children and can be very energetic. In addition, they tend to pair that energy with a clown like temperament that can be very comical at times. They are generally very good natured but they can be stubborn at times.

Life Expectancy:
10 to 15 years
Grooming:
The French Bull Weiner breed of dog will have different grooming needs depending on the coat type that you have. If your French Bull Terrier is short haired, then grooming is very easy and consists of simply wiping them down with a damp cloth on a regular basis to keep them clean. Both the short hair and long haired variety should be brushed several times a week to remove any dead hair but the long haired French Bull Wiener should be bathed on a monthly basis.
Origin:
The French Bull Wiener breed of dog is a designer 'hybrid' dog breed that has become popular over the last decade. Because the breed has sprung up, rather than been developed, we are unaware of the actual origins of the breed.
