Dog
The Free-Lance Bulldog breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the English Bulldog with the French Bulldog. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Free-Lance Bulldog will have qualities of both parents. They are usually a small to medium sized breed of dog that has a stocky, almost square build. They should have a wide chest and head with narrow hips giving them a top heavy appearance. The head should have a short, brachycephalic muzzle and there should be deep folds and wrinkles on the head and face. The ears can be small and rose shaped, but more commonly, they are the large, erect ears of the French Bulldog parent. In many ways, the Free-Lance Bulldog looks like a larger French Bulldog.
The coat of the Free-Lance Bulldog should be short and close to the skin. It should cover the dog completely and have a shiny appearance. The texture is usually medium in roughness. The Free-Lance Bulldog can be found in any of the colors of the parent breeds but the most common is dark brindle and white
