Dog
The Foxy Russell breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Jack Russell Terrier with the Toy Fox Terrier. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the American Rat Pinscher will have qualities of both parents. The breed should be a small to toy sized breed of dog that is lean and delicate in appearance. They should have an athletic build and they are usually slightly longer than they are tall. The head is usually round, with large, erect ears that can occasionally fold to the side of the head. The muzzle is usually long and slim and the tail is usually medium in length.
The coat of the Foxy Russell is short and close to the skin. It should cover the dog fully and can be any color that is commonly seen in the parent breeds. The most common color is white with brown markings.
