Dog
The English Boston Bulldog breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Boston Terrier with the English Bulldog. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the English Boston Bulldog will have qualities of both parents. They are usually a small to medium sized breed that is stocky with a wide chest and narrow hips. They should be compact in build with an almost square proportion and a large head with a strong jaw. The nose should be pushed back, almost none existent muzzle and the eyes should be large with deep wrinkles across the bridge of the nose and down the sides of the face. The ears can be rose shaped, folded forward or half pricked and the tail can be pump shaped, cork screw or short. The overall appearance should be of a muscular dog, although they are not as muscular as their English Bulldog parent.
The coat of the English Boston Bulldog should be short and close to the skin. It should cover the dog completely and have a shiny appearance. The texture is usually medium in roughness. The English Boston Terrier can be found in any of the colors of the parent breeds including black and white, white and tan and white and brindle.
