Dog
East-European Shepherd Champions
The East-European Shepherd breed of dog is a large sized breed that resembles the look of the German Shepherd in many ways. The dog should be slightly longer than they are tall with a muscular and well-balanced build. It is important to note that there are marked differences between male and females with the latter appearing more feminine and delicate than the former. The head should be wedge shaped and there should be medium sized ears that are set high on the head and stand erect. The top line should be flat and there should be a tuck up of the stomach. The tail should be long.
The coat of the East-European Shepherd should consist of a double coat with a short, dense undercoat and a medium length top coat that is slightly rough in texture. Both coats should be dense and should cover the dog completely. The East-European Shepherd should be black and fawn, which can range from gray to tan, and the black should form a saddle on the back and cover the head.
