Dog
The Dalmador breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Labrador Retriever with the Dalmatian. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Dalmador will have qualities of both parents. They are often described as medium to large sized breed that should be athletic and well-proportioned. They should have the look of a working breed with the gracefulness of a Dalmation. The head is usually slightly rounded with a well-defined muzzle and pendulous ears that hang down the side of the head. The tail is usually long and tapers to a point and the top line is level.
The coat of the Dalmador is usually consists of two coats. The undercoat should be short and dense and should provide the dog with ample protection from the elements. The topcoat is usually short, and straight and it should be thick. Usually the coat resembles a Labrador Retrievers more than a Dalmation, although not always. The color can be any found in the parent breeds but the most common is black or black with white markings. The Dalmador can also be white with black spots.
