Breed Description: 

Owners say that these are sweet, loving, playful little dogs and that they make good family pets. They may be a bit more independent than the Cavalier usually is, taking after their Chihuahua parent. They may be a little more assertive, like the Chihuahua. With good socialization from the time they’re a puppy these dogs should make good pets.

Height: 
These dogs are usually larger than their Chihuahua parent and may stand up to 12 or 13 inches tall at the shoulder.
Weight: 
These dogs are usually larger than their Chihuahua parent and may weigh between 10 and 18 pounds.
Exercise: 
These dogs do need regular daily exercise to maintain good health and to avoid behavior problems
Life Expectancy: 
The lifespan of the Chilier breed of dog can be between 9 and 14 years.
Grooming: 
Most Chiliers seem to have longer coats and require regular brushing to prevent tangles and mats. Trim the hair between the toes as needed. Brush the ears often to prevent mats. It’s also necessary to clean inside the ears frequently to prevent ear infections.
Origin: 
This designer breed seems to have originated in Great Britain. More information is not known.
