Breed Description: 

All accounts state that these are intelligent little dogs and learn quickly. They seem to be good with children. The Cavapoo breed of dog is friendly, energetic and they thrive on being with people. They can be hyper, get into trouble when left alone, or suffer from separation anxiety if they are not well-socialized.

Height: 
These little dogs are usually about 9 to 14 inches tall at the shoulder.
Weight: 
The Cavapoo breed of dog usually weighs between 7 and 18 pounds.
Exercise: 
Some of these dogs have a very high energy level and they need a great deal of exercise. They can easily adapt to apartment living but only if they have plenty of regular exercise.
Life Expectancy: 
The lifespan of the Cavapoo breed of dog is 10 to 14 years.
Grooming: 
Grooming requirements for the Cavapoo breed of dog will depend somewhat on the type of coat the dog has. Dogs with the Cavalier coat will require frequent brushing. Dogs with the Poodle coat will also need regular brushing but they may also require occasional clippering to look tidy. Regular ear cleaning is necessary to prevent ear infections.
Origin: 
The Cavapoo breed of dog is known in Australia and the U.S. but it’s not known where the first breedings took place.
