Breed Description:
Owners and breeders say that the Bullypit breed of dog makes a good family dog but that they can be reserved around strangers and other dogs. They are fun-loving but can be protective. These dogs do need to be well-socialized from a young age. Training is a good idea.
Height:
The Bullypit breed of dog can stand between 18 and 28 inches tall at the shoulder.
Weight:
The Bullypit breed of dog can weigh between 35 and 125 pounds, depending on which parent the dog resembles.
Exercise:
The Bullypit breed of dog requires regular exercise. They do need plenty of socialization from a young age to avoid behavior problems in the house. More exercise will help avoid behavior problems.
Life Expectancy:
The life expectancy of the parent breeds are between 12 and 15 years which gives a range for the Bullypit breed of dog.
Grooming:
The breed has a short, dense coat and the grooming requirements are minimal. They require regular brushing for good health and to prevent shedding. Regular ear cleaning is necessary to prevent ear infections.
