Breed Description: 

The Bullboxer Pit breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the American Pit Bull Terrier with the Boxer. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Bullboxer Pit will have qualities of both parents with a short, hard textured coat and a long tapered tail. They should be medium to large in size and should have a boxy head with a strong jaw and wide shoulders. The coat is generally any of the colors found in the parent breeds, however, white or brindle is a common coat color for the breed. The ears are usually large and hang down the side of the head.

Temperament: 
The Bullboxer Pit breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. They are known as being a playful and affectionate breed that is very loyal to their family. They are usually very good with children of all ages and are usually very patient with them. The breed can have aggression problems if they are not properly trained and socialized, however, with consistent rules, the Bullboxer Pit can be a wonderful breed. They do require a strong owner and are not recommended for new or timid owners. The breed can do well with other dogs and pets, however, socialization is very important for this to happen. The breed can be very protective of their family.

The average height for a Bullboxer Pit is between 20 to 27 inches.
Weight: 
The average weight for a Bullboxer Pit is between 40 to 75 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Bullboxer Pit breed of dog has no known health problems, however, is important to research both the American Pitbull Terrier and the Boxer to be aware of any potential health problems your dog could be at risk for.
Living Conditions: 
The Bullboxer Pit breed of dog can do very well in apartments if they are exercised properly, however, the ideal living condition is a home with a large fenced yard. In addition, while they do enjoy being outside, they should not be an outdoor dog; this is a breed that loves being with their owners.
Exercise: 
The Bullboxer Pit breed of dog are considered to be an active breed and will need between 30 to 60 minutes of exercise each day. They should be walked on leash since some can suffer from aggression problems.

13 to 15 years
Grooming: 
The Bullboxer Pit breed of dog is a very easy breed to groom and they require little to no maintenance to keep their coats healthy. On average, you should expect to brush your dog on a weekly basis to remove dead hairs and dirt. A wipe down with a damp cloth will keep them clean and they should only be bathed when it is absolutely necessary. Ears should be cleaned on a regular basis and nails should be clipped once or twice a month.
