Dog
Group:
Miscellaneous Class
Pronunciation:
(BULL-a-door)
Breed Description:
According to breeders this is a very friendly, loving dog. They claim that the dogs have the great Labrador Retriever temperament and love of family and the loyalty of the Bulldog.
Height:
range in height from 12 to 28 inches tall
Weight:
can weigh between 40 and 75 pounds
Exercise:
Depending on the dog’s individual size and energy level, the Bullador breed of dog requires regular daily exercise. Labradors have high energy levels and require lots of exercise. The Bulldog has fewer exercise demands. Your experience with your individual Bullador will be based on his size and personality.
Life Expectancy:
The life expectancy of the Bullador breed of dog is currently unknown. These dogs have only been deliberately bred for a short time and it’s too soon to tell what their natural lifespan may be.
Grooming:
The Bullador breed of dog is easy to groom. They have a short, dense coat that requires regular brushing to discourage shedding. However, some dogs may have coats that are more like their Labrador parent’s coat. In that case, the coat could be somewhat oily (to repel water). Dogs that are more like their Labrador parent will also be more prone to shedding.
Origin:
Bullador breeders typically claim that these crosses came about by accident and that they were pleased with the resulting puppies. Most breeders say that the Bullador breed of dog matings have occurred within the last 10 years. This fits with the timeframe of increased interest in designer dogs. Comments
