Many variations emerged afterwards such as crossing the Boxer with the American Pit Bull Terrier, the English Bulldog, the American Bulldog, the American Staffordshire Terrier, more crosses with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and others. The intent may have been to keep a bully dog look while adding the companion qualities of the Boxer. Comments
