Breed Description: 

The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the French Bulldog, Pug and Boston Terrier. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Bonsai Bulldogge will have qualities of all the parents.  They are usually a small to medium sized breed that should be muscular and sturdy in appearance.  They should have wider shoulders than hips, although not as pronounced as other breeds, and they should have a level top line.  The neck of the Bonsai Bulldogge should be extremely long.  The build should be slightly longer than they are tall and the head should be rounded with a short, muzzle, very similar in shape and size to their pug parent. The ears can be rose or folded forward adn the tail is usually short.

The coat of the Bonsai Bulldogge should be short and close to the skin. It should cover the dog completely and have a shiny appearance. The texture is usually medium in roughness. They can be any coat color that is seen in the parent breeds including brindle or fawn with a black mask.

Temperament: 
The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. Generally, they are described as a dog with a big personality. They are brave, strong and tenacious and are as energetic as large bulldog breeds. The Bonsai Bulldogge is usually very even tempered and they generally get along well with everyone. They are very affectionate and are extremely loyal to their family. They can be suspicious of strangers and can make an excellent watch dog. The breed does well with children of all ages and can do very well with other pets and dogs.

The average height for a Bonsai Bulldogge is between 10 to 12 inches.
Weight: 
The average weight for a Bonsai Bulldogge is between 25 to 35 pounds.
Health Problems: 
The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog has no known health problems, however, it is important to read up on the Pug, French Bulldog and the Boston Terrier to be aware of the health problems your puppy may be at risk for.
Living Conditions: 
The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog is versatile when it comes to living conditions and they can live in both apartments and homes with yards. They should not live outdoors and do best when they are inside with their family as a companion dog.
Exercise: 
The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog can be an energetic breed, however, their exercise needs can be met fairly easily and you should expect to give them between 20 to 30 minutes of exercise each day.

10 to 14 years
Grooming: 
The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog is a very easy breed to groom and they require little to no maintenance to keep their coats healthy. On average, you should expect to brush your dog on a weekly basis to remove dead hairs and dirt. A wipe down with a damp cloth will keep them clean and they should only be bathed when it is absolutely necessary. Ears should be cleaned on a regular basis and nails should be clipped once or twice a month.
Origin: 
The Bonsai Bulldogge breed of dog is a designer `hybrid`breed that has become popular over the last decade or so. The breed was actually developed by a Laura Kelsch of Hammerhead & Tie Lang Tou Kennels in an effort to provide a small bullie-type breed for people that wanted one. The breed was developed by crossing the Pug, French Bulldog and Boston Terrier so if you are interested in learning more about the Bonsai Bulldogge, it is recommended that you read up on the parent breeds as well.
