Breed Description:

The Bolgen Terrier breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Boston Terrier and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Boglen Terrier will have qualities of all the parents. They are a small to medium sized breed of dog that should be muscular in appearance and build without being too course or bulky. The body should be well proportioned but the front legs are fairly long for the dog.  The Bolgen Terrier should be slightly longer than they are tall and they should have a level top line. The head should be broad with a small muzzle and the ears should fold forward. The tail should be medium in length and should taper to a point.

The coat of the Boglen Terrier is usually a short coat that is very dense and covers the dog completely. The hair should lay flat on the dog and create a smooth line. The texture of the coat should be slightly hard. The Bolgen Terrier can be found in any colors that are common in the parent breeds but the most common color is a black, white and brown tricolor.

Temperament:
The Bolgen Terrier breed of dog is a friendly and intelligent breed that is known for their sweet temperament and their clown-like personality. This is a dog that loves to be with their family and they love just about everyone. The breed is usually very good with children of all ages and they usually do well with other dogs and pets.
