Breed Description:

The Bogle breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Boxer and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Bogle will have qualities of all the parents.  They are usually a medium sized breed of dog that should be athletic in appearance and well-proportioned. They usually have a slgihtly longer body than they are tall with a level top line. The head of the Bogle should be wide with a medium length muzzle and long, hanging ears. The tail of the Bogle is usually long and tapers to a point.

The coat of the Bogle is usually a short coat that is very dense and covers the dog completely. The hair should lay flat on the dog and create a smooth line. The texture of the coat should be slightly hard. The Bogle can be found in any colors that are common in the parent breeds but the most common colors are black, white and tan tricolor or brindle and white.

Temperament:
The Bogle breed of dog is an energetic and intelligent breed that is often described as a sweet tempered breed.
