Dog

Pronunciation:
bo-dahk
Breed Description:

The Bo-Dach breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Pekingese and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Peagke will have qualities of all the parents.  The Bo-Dach is usually a small sized breed of dog that has a barrel like shape to it. The breed should have a slightly elongated body, and if they take after their Dachshund parent, they should be low to the ground. They should have a robust build and their tail can be medium in length or short like a Boston Terrier.  The head is usually rounded with a shorter muzzle, although not as short as a Boston Terrier. They can have rose shaped ears but commonly the ears hang down the side of the head.

The coat of the Bo-Dach is usually a short coat that is dense and lays flat on the dog. It should cover the dog completely and should have a rough texture to it. The Bo-Dach can be found in any color of the parent breeds but the more common colors are brown or black and white.

Temperament:
The Bo-Dach breed of dog is a designer breed and because of this, their temperament can vary greatly. They are a playful breed of dog that is intelligent and affectionate. The breed can be a bit stubborn at times, especially if they take after their Dachshund parent, but they are usually very easy to train. The Bo-Dach usually does well with children but may be better suited to homes with older children. The breed does very well with other dogs and pets and can thrive in a multi-pet home. The Bo-Dach is often described as a happy breed that gets along well with everyone.
