We start by using the highest quality and quantity of fresh chicken and fresh chicken organ meat, which we source fresh from nearby chicken processors that make the fresh chicken for your dinner table.
From there, we protect the fresh chicken and fresh chicken organ meat's nutrients by our exclusive nutrient protection technology. This means the heat sensitive Amino Acids are protected from heat damage that occurs in most "expanded" dog foods. And we add just the right amount of vitamins and minerals to make a complete and balanced diet.

Bil-Jac's Nutritional Philosophy
We have never added wheat gluten meal, corn gluten meal, rice gluten or protein concentrate to any of our formulas. Our primary source of protein nutrition is fresh chicken, because your dog evolved as a carnivore. Your dog's nutrition is optimized when fed a diet composed primarily of protein. While fresh chicken protein is a more expensive ingredient, we know it's what your dog was evolved to thrive on.
