Dog
The Beaglier breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Beagle. Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks and temperament of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next. Generally, the Beaglier will have qualities of all the parents. They are usually a small to medium sized breed that is athletic in appearance without appearing too muscular or lean. The breed is usually slightly longer than they are tall and they usually have a level top line. The ears of the Beaglier are usually large and hang down the side of the broad head. The tail is long and the muzzle of the dog tends to be medium in length, a distinct cross between the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Beagle.
The coat of the Beaglier can range in length from the long, silky coat of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the short coat of the Beagle. Usually, the Beaglier has a short, dense coat that covers the dog completely. The hair should have a medium texture and can be any color that is common for the parent breeds including Blenheim and black, white and tan.
