The Banter Bulldogge breed of dog is a mixed breed of dog that was created by crossing the boxer with several different types of bull dog breeds. While it is considered to be a designer breed, there was a reason for the creation of the breed and the actual origin of the Banter Bulldogge is documented. During the 1990's, a man named Todd Tripp began breeding boxers with a number of different breeds in an attempt to recreate the Brabanter Bullenbeisser. This was a popular breed in Belgium during the 1700's but like many other breeds, they were now extinct. Todd Tripp carefully bred various dogs and their offspring and the result was the Banter Bulldogge.
