Breed Description:

The Alusky breed of dog is a "designer" or mixed breed that was created by crossing the Alaskan Malamute with the Siberian Husky.  Because of this, a breed type has not been established and the looks of the dog can greatly change from one puppy to the next.  Generally, the Alusky will have qualities of both parents with a dense, medium length coat, slightly curled to fully curled tail and a robust, athletic build. Ears are usually erect and they can be found in any colors that are common for the parent breeds.  To determine what an Alusky may look like, take the time to read up on both the Alaskan Malamute and the Siberian Husky.
